41st Anniversary Celebrations and Floor Hockey Tournament

Our community just celebrated it’s 41st Anniversary this year.  We had a FREE pancake breakfast which was very good.  Unfortunately our planned softball tournament got rained out, but thanks to our surrounding communities good sportsmanship, a round robin floor hockey tournament took place instead.  Being over 40 and playing floor hockey for the first time since high school took its toll. Bruises and body aches aside, it was a lot of fun and Kilkenny Team 1 was lucky enough to win all 4 of their games making Kilkenny the champions!  There were also kids activities in the hall due to the rain and a semi trailer of games too!  A steak BBQ and dance was held in the evening and included your Kilkenny Executive, members of parliament and other dignitaries.  A good time was had by all.
